PROPOSTA PER UN NUOVO CENTRO SPORTIVO RICREATIVO E TURISTICO PRESSO LA CITTADINA DI GAJ PRI PRAGERSKO - SLOVENJA

 

Il progetto reinterpreta gli spazi a verde attraverso una localizzazione funzionale  delle attività richieste assumento come linea guida progettuale il rispetto verso l'aspetto naturalistico dell'area.

L'area in realtà comprende una sede per  attività sportive riconosciute a livello internazionale e legate al tiro al volo, l'approccio al tema dunque partiva da una funzione presente e radicata nel territorio.

Obbiettivo del progetto è la collocazione di una serie di attività a carattere sportivo ricreativo e legato al tempo libero.

 

La  proposta prevede:

 

• Un asse centrale che percorre longitudinalmente tutta l’area con una impronta fortemente ecologica in cui si concentra la vita di relazione e l’interconnessione tra le varie tipologie e funzioni del complesso.

       Tale asse è costituito da:

      -viali pedonali

      -pista ciclabile

     -canale d’acqua collegante i laghetti esistenti di progetto, percorribile da                canoe

     -eventuale pista per cavalli

     -eventuale sistema sotterraneo che contenga tutti gli impianti di servizio              (con risparmi di costruzione e di gestione)

 

• Un sistema di parchi con vegetazione tipica dell’ecosistemi della zona che integri  la zona boscosa esistente a nord-est e collochi i vari edifici su prati aperti verso sud, su cui possono essere collocate le funziono pubbliche ( bar, piscine, club, commerciale ecc) in prossimità dell’asse centrale collegato anche al verde del campo da golf.

 

• La creazione di tre grandi anse delimitate dal bosco su cui sistemare il villaggio residenziale, l’albergo e il palasport.

       Tali strutture saranno servite da un unico asse veicolare situato sul bordo          nord con penetrazioni perpendicolari, mentre verso sud saranno collegate        con percorsi pedonali convergenti sull’asse centrale.

 

• Un eventuale piccolo spostamento dell’ippodromo in modo da concentrare parcheggi e servizi (stalle) nell’area più vicina all’ingresso e più lontana dalle abitazioni.

 

• La previsione di un sistema di risparmio energetico costituito da pannelli solari, eventuali pale eoliche l’utilizzazione di pompe di calore che utilizzino risorse idriche del sottosuolo ecc.

 

• L’eventuale previsione di un mezzo ecologico (people mover, tranvia, autobus elettrici ecc) che connetta ed integri i vari servizi e impianti ed in particolare i parcheggi.

 

PROPOSAL FOR A NEW TURISTIC AND SPORT/LEASURE CENTER IN GAJ PRI PRAGERKO (SLO)

ŠPORTNO REKREACIJSKO TURISTIČNI CENTER GAJ PRI PRAGERSKEM (SLO)

 

The    masterplan    contains   a   rational localization  of the functions;  our design proposes small adjustments  in orde r to improve the liveability of the centre.

At both ends of the site there are shooting range and  the racecourse  which are  the  activities with the largest number of users; it is therefore right to place them near the  parking  facilities   and  service  buildings  (such as stables for instance) and  as far as  possible  from  the central residential and sports areas.

 

Both the  buildings  and  outside  features  must   have  a   limited   impact   on    the landscape.

In particular the open spaces surrounded by high trees and water features will have limited size and will be open to the sun.

Great attention will be given to the use of materials fit for the place and ecological  (such  as  wood,   terracotta,   roughcast,  glass, etc).

Besides we suggest the use of alternative  sources  of  energy  such  as   solar and  photovoltaic  panels,  use of heat pumps for heating and cooling, because we are in the presence of a water-bearing layers with  an  almost  even temperature which can be easily reached.

 

We  think  that  the masterplan of Gaj Pri Pragersko,  as  it  has  been  designed, can be  developed and expanded in  order to be an   opportunity  to  create a unique  and exemplary complex,  well  integrated in   a  delicate  landscape, but at  the  same   time modern and innovative.

Our planning idea, which of course will be expanded in  the  future,  is  inspired by some guidelines  we  briefly summarize.

 

The  centre  should  not  be  like an  ordinary tourist village   or  urban expansion  and  we  will  not  be satisfied only by a good placement in the landscape.

On  the  contrary,  it  must  become an organic place  where  both  outdoor areas,  pathways,  the l ayout  green   and  water,  and  the   visual  perception of  architectural settlements are attractive.

This identity must be read not only by the inhabitants and  habitual   visitors of  the  place,  but  also  by occasional visitors and those who  pass quickly along the veicular roads or walk along the pathways.

We must not forget the importance of the sign in the landscape that can be seen and discernible from above (airplanes, google etc).

 

In order to avoid to scatter and isolate the functions we thought  to design a central axis which will become the spine of the centre. 

The spine is composed of: 

- a pathway which widens in open spaces for rest and 

   leisure.

- a water feature, used by canoes and rowing boats, 

   which  can be  connected  to  the  small   lakes  and 

   waterways existing around.

-  a course for horses.

- a trail for ecological means of transports (electric car,

   golf-autocaddy, etc)

 

The vehicular network is situated especially around the centre.

Places of interest:  shooting  range,  golf  course,  hotel,  sportshall, country house, etc.
